我們的教育能否教育出這種小孩呢？(這種媽媽呢？)

這事發生在普吉島的 ClubMed 渡假村，那時我在那裡擔任中英文的翻譯公關。

有一天，我在大廳裡，突然看見一位滿臉歉意的日本工作人員，安慰著一位大約四歲的西方小孩，飽受驚嚇的小孩已經哭得精疲力盡了。

問明原因之後，我才知道，原來這位日本工作人員，因為那天小孩較多，一時疏忽，在兒童網球課結束後，少算了一位，將這位澳洲小孩留在網球場。

等到她發現人數不對時，才趕快跑到網球場，將這位小孩帶回來，小孩因為一個人在偏遠的網球場，飽受驚嚇，哭得浠浬嘩啦的。
現在澳洲媽媽出現了，看著自己的小孩哭得慘兮兮的。如果你是這位媽媽，你會怎麼做？是痛罵那位工作人員一頓？還是直接向主管抗議？或是很生氣的將小孩帶離開，再也不參加『兒童俱樂部』了？

都不是！請看--
我親眼看見這位媽媽，蹲下來安慰四歲的小孩，並且很理性的告訴他：『已經沒事了，那位日本姊姊因為找不到妳而非常的緊張難過，她不是故意的，現在你必須親親那位日本姊姊的臉頰，安慰她一下！』

當下我只見那位四歲的小孩，墊起腳跟，親親蹲在他身旁的日本工作人員的臉頰，並且輕輕的告訴她：『不要害怕，已經沒事了！』
就是要這樣的教育，才能養出寬容、體貼的孩子吧！體貼別人，也等於體貼了自己的心。

I have booked for the Fireman and I booked under my name su fen, so those who come early can tell the waiter. I have booked in front of the Fireman show stage..good ah...

I want to remind everyone again Plz be punctuate. Arrive at 6pm, latest 6.15pm if you want to enjoy the buy 3 free 1 promotion. APEX for USM

Just an information of my university (USM) for everyone. Recently USM had been granted the APEX status. Something to be proud of as a USM students. Here is the news if u all interested to know more.

PUTRAJAYA: Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has been granted apex status. With it, USM can expect hundreds of millions of ringgit in additional funding to transform it into Malaysia's first world-class university.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said that quantitative and qualitative criteria were used to select USM under the accelerated programme for excellence (apex).

“The selection committee evaluated each university's state of readiness, transformation plan and preparedness for change.

“After a thorough evaluation, the committee decided that only one university truly met all the criteria, namely USM,'' he told a press conference yesterday.

The Cabinet had agreed to USM being given the apex status on Aug 27.

The university that is given apex status is one that has the greatest potential among Malaysian universities to be world-class, and as such, would be given additional assistance to compete with top-ranked global institutions, added Khaled.

He said with apex status, USM will be expected to move up the World University Rankings with a target of top 200 in five years' and top 100, if not top 50, by 2020.

In last year’s Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings, Universiti Malaya (UM) was the highest ranked Malaysian university at 246, followed by USM (307), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (309) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (364).

A selection committee headed by former Universiti Malaysia Sarawak vice-chancellor Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Mohamad Zawawi Ismail short-listed USM, UM, UKM and UPM.

USM's transformation plan, entitled “Transforming Higher Education for a Sustainable Tomorrow” focussed, among other things, on diagnostics, medical biotechnology, waste management, pharmaceuticals, nano-technology, membrane technology and vaccines.

Asked why UM was not selected, Khaled said: “I hope the apex status will spur other universities to strive for excellence, too. It's not about selecting the oldest university but choosing one with a doable plan that can help us transform our higher education.”

The other universities that applied for apex status were International Islamic University Malaysia, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Petronas and Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

这么久没有UPDATE了上网找了一些资料分享一下

到底什么是华社兴革运动呢？

“兴革运动”是由马华公会、华总及商联会联合推动
1998年3月21日正式展开，取代之前的《食宴守则》(过后易名为《活动守则》)
目的 : 积极推广中华民族精神文明和弘扬传统价值观。
主要是要除掉一些华人宴会的传统恶习，如：不守时（六点开席八点才到）、开场白/称呼冗长（念一大堆名字才开始）、贵宾致词冗长、台上致词台下高谈阔论、晚宴还没结束就离开、表演/余兴节目内容必须健康……

如果STPM出到这题作文题目，千万不要以为兴革运动是那些所谓的“华团文化传承活动”，不要写珲春比赛，提灯笼游行。也不要以为那是“华社教育革命”，不要写白小运动，拉曼大学等等。

A Wolf Or Two Lions?

Long time ago, God put two flocks of sheep on grassland: one group at north and one group at south. God also gave them two types of native predator: Lion and wolf.

God told the sheep: "If you choose wolf, I shall give you one, and it's allowed to bite you at its will. If you choose lion, I shall give you two, and you are allowed to choose anyone from the two of them to stay on the grassland, and you can replace it at any time.”

So, the question is: If you are one of the sheep, what will you choose? A wolf or two lions?

It's easy to make your choice, right? Remember your choice, and continue with our story.

The sheep at the south thought that lions are more fiercely than wolf, so they picked a wolf.

The sheep at the north thought that although lions are more fiercely than wolf, but they have the option to choose, so they took two lions.

The wolf started eating the sheep once it entered the herd at the south. The wolf was smaller and it had smaller appetite. One sheep is enough to appease its hunger for days. So the sheep only were hunted once a few days.

The sheep at the north chose a lion and leave another one with God. The lion started eating sheep once it entered the herd at the north. The lion was more fiercely than the wolf and it had much larger appetite. It needed to eat a sheep each day to keep its stomach full. So the sheep is hunted everyday, and they were very afraid.

They asked God to replace the lion. But the lion that stayed with the God has not been eaten anything and it was very hungry. It pounced on the sheep and bite like crazy. The sheep had to run for their life everyday until they didn't have time to eat.

The sheep at the south were grateful that they made the right choice, and they laughed at the sheep at the north for being stupid and chose the wrong predator.

The sheep at the north repented for their choice. They complained to God, and asked God to change their native predator to a wolf. But God said: “No. Once the native predator was chosen, it cannot be changed anymore. You must live with it forever. Your only option is to choose between the two lions.” The sheep at the north have to keep rotating the two lions.

But both lions were the same. Both of them showed no mercy. No matter how they rotate the lions, their situation was always much more miserable than the sheep at the south. At last, they stop rotating. They kept a lion full all the time while letting another one suffered in hunger. They only replaced the lions when the suffering lion was dying.

After a long time of hunger, the suffering lion realized that: Even they are much stronger than the sheep, but its fate is controlled by the sheep. The sheep can send him back to God anytime, and let him suffer and die in hunger.

So it treated the sheep very nice, it only ate the dead and the old sheep and it wouldn't eat the healthy sheep. The sheep felt very surprise and happy. Some of the younger sheep even suggested letting the suffering lion to stay forever. But one of the elder reminded them: “The lion treats us good because it is afraid that we’ll send it back to the God. If we let another lion die, we'll left with no choice and the suffering lion will return to its nature and starts hunting us again.” The sheep agreed with the elder. To prevent another lion starve to death, they replaced it after a few weeks.

And the lion also realized that its fate is controlled by the sheep. In order to stay longer on the grassland, the lion tried its best to please the sheep. Another lion felt so sad that it had to suffer hunger again.

After experiencing such a hard time, the sheep at the north finally can enjoy themselves.

At the mean time, the situation of the sheep at the south became worse and worse because the wolf had no competitor and the sheep couldn't replace it. It started to act wildly. It had to kill ten sheep everyday. It didn't eat sheep anymore. It only drank their blood. The sheep were not allowed to make a sound because they would be killed by the wolf if they do so.

In the end, the sheep at the south could only bemoan: “We should choose the lions in the first place......”

End of story.

So, what do you get from this story?

We can only surrender if we don't have the right to choose and decide (like the sheep at the south). But the democracy system gives us an opportunity to exercise our power to choose and decide our destiny (like the sheep at the north).

But in our country, many people don't realize that they have the power to do so. They keep feeding the same lion with their flesh and blood while letting another one starve to death. As a result, the lion grows stronger and its appetite becomes larger. It starts to think itself as King doesn't care for the sheep as long as it's happy. And it hopes that this situation will last forever.

So, I hope that after reading this story, you'll realize that you have the power to choose. You have to show the lions who's the boss!!

　　和蔼可亲是他们的保护色。不一定容貌姣好，但是独特的个人魅力是他们争战的武器。天秤最懂得顺应时事，不会为难任何人，等天子同庶民，不过是在天子没看到的地方。懂得人和为贵，这并不表示他们忠贞不二，怕事的天秤，在突然的时候会选择出卖所有人，只为了保全自己。天秤是很好的谈判人才，任何交际应酬的场合都少难不到他们。和他们相处不必太认真，当下的开心快乐，足以弥补他突如其来的背叛同学的凄怆。

　　争权夺利的摩羯座同学
　　不一定要当上重量极人物，他们喜欢成为操控大局的黑手。认真仔细不足以一窥全豹。一向清楚知道自己需求的魔竭，不会浪费时间体力，在没有必要的交际应酬上，就算全世界都遗弃他，最终还是会要到他想要的。魔竭惯用安全的保护色掩饰自己的目标，在很多人眼中，他们是难解的。幸好他们一向是人不犯我，我不犯人，挡路的东西会清除，却不至于波及无辜。切莫得罪他们，摩羯半人半的毁灭性格，在施展报复的时候，绝对会让敌人求生不得，求死不能。

　　做错事的机率很高，但是帮他收拾残局的人通常都会于心不忍。谁愿意欺负一只受伤的小白兔呢？双鱼天真浪漫的个性在班级里很容易吃亏，被人出卖的机率相当高，可别以为他们什么都不想要，事实上，双鱼非常了解人性，也知道大环境的变迁，应该如何免于灾祸，他们可是了解于心。逃避现实是他们的通病，期盼他们成长，就要给他压力，这样你才能免于当保姆的责任。不要姑息他们的无辜，该责怪的时候不要客气，他们的成长将是你明日的解脱。

I had ping pong, yet I doesn’t very keen about it, since I don’t know how to play, but today, the funny Mei Kee was with me during co-curricular activities, both of us had such fun playing ping pong, for once, and I played until the teacher in-change told us that we had to leave. Thus we left with a extremely happy mood while joking on the way to meet ShuTing. After that, three of us headed back to our class.

On our way, we passed by Yong Moi Moi, I saw her glancing around for something, or rather, someone. Immediately, I knew that she was looking for a petty KULI (苦力) to do her worthless task which she alone was too lazy to do it. I thought that since I was no longer her underlings and pitiful KULI, I was sacked by her without the Pn. Lim Pek Cho being notified, I can just walked pass her without feeling scare or intimidated. And then, she spotted me, she motioned me to come to her side, WHAT THE HECK?!
“Ar, you come here,” she said. “there’s something I want you to do, take this paper to Pn. Konasuyagi(something like that),”
“Har? Do something?” I said reluctantly with a unhappy face since I know that once she asked you to do something, it is going to be a real annoying and tiring job, you gotta run up and run down, at that moment I just wanna go home. So I added, “but you sacked me!”
And you know what the hag replied?!
“I don’t care whether you are being sacked or not, YOU STILL A MEMBER OF MY CLUB!”
At that time I was like, WHAT?! But I remained silent with a slight change on my face, from unhappy to unsatisfied. 脸黑. But the fact that, I can’t fight that Hag back, she is a teacher after all, and I’m a student, as a student we must always always RESPECT the teachers no matter they are right or wrong. SO I replied, “I don’t even know whose that teacher is.”
She rose up her tone and commanded, “She’s an afternoon session teacher, come in the couselling room and see her photo.” With that she entered the room which was just beside her with out waiting for me to reply, and before entering the room, I heard she said loudly, “DON’T SHOW ME THAT FACE and THAT ADDITUDE!”

A very shocking news we got this Monday when the LKT announced that we U6A got Kelas Terbersih for this month.Believe it or not? U6A got Kelas Terbersih. What had happened? No one actually move when they announced it. Everyone was shocked....hahaha..so funny..
It's consider lucky if we didn't get Kelas Terkotor but now in another way round.
But still very happy, thanks to our K.K( Eng Thong)...U have done a good job..no doubt for u to be K.K.....Gambate!!! Hope we get Kelas Terbersih again next month...

Destruction. Ruin.
What had just happened? It came all to fast to be predicted and ‘woosh’ it devastated our land. ‘What was that?’ Everyone asked. Why has it come to this?
It is really all our fault? Indeed not mine, yet ours, to be blame.

Anger. Sorry. Confused. Unhappy. Scare.
Which side do you feel now? I felt…mixed with every one of them except…Sigh. Let's just say, you get what I mean.

Everyone has their own opinion, their own point of view but, complicating things? I guess that’s the way how adults see things, if so, then, I'm just a kid in a 19 years old body. Ignorant and bliss. And I prefer to stay that way, but my surrounding had forced me to accept and be influenced by the thoughts of the adults… EDUCATION!
Well, whatever, that's not my point in this article now, so…just skip it.

Everyone has their own definition about everyone, sometimes they differ sometimes they are almost the same. And sadly, this time the adults' definition and ours meet head on. And well, the result is always the same, the powerful wins. Yet, this affair has not yet ended, the outcome still shrouded in mystery. [I'll not say anymore for I fear of my safety. The only thing is sure for is that, I will be in the GREY spot until this matter ends. Am I too timid to involve? Maybe, I don’t deny, that’s my nature.]

Hopefully it turned to be an ending that everyone desires, but such things…happen always in fairy tales, reality? Hmph, don't bet on it. Monday is near…BEWARE…

洋叫我post的故事，很长，也很有意思，慢慢欣赏。。。

一天，一个盲人带着他的导盲犬过马路时，一辆大卡车失去控制，直冲过来，盲人被当场撞死。他的导盲犬为了守卫主人，也一起惨死在车轮底下。

主人和狗到了天堂门前。一位天使拦住他俩，为难地说：“对不起，现在天堂只剩下一个名额，你们两个中必须有一个去地狱。”

主人一听，连忙问：“我的狗又不知道什么是天堂，什么是地狱，能不能让我来决定谁去天堂呢？”

天使鄙视地看了这个主人一眼，皱起了眉头，他想了想，说：“很抱歉，先生，每一个灵魂都是平等的，你们要通过比赛决定谁上天堂。”

主人失望地问：“哦，什么比赛呢？”

天使说：“这个比赛很简单，就是赛跑，从这里跑到天堂的大门口，谁先到达目的地，谁就可以上天堂。不过，你也别担心，因为你已经死了，所以不再是瞎子，而且灵魂的速度与肉体无关，越单纯善良的人速度越快。”主人想了想，同意了。

天使让主人和狗准备好，就宣布赛跑开始。她满心以为主人为了进天堂，会拼命往前奔，谁知道主人一点也不忙，慢吞吞地往前走着。更令她吃惊的是，那条导盲犬也没有奔跑，它配合着主人的步调在旁边慢慢跟着，一步都不肯离开主人。

天使恍然大悟：原来，多年来这条导盲犬已经养成了习惯，永远跟着主人行动，在主人的前方守护着他。可恶的主人，正是利用了这一点，才胸有成竹，稳操胜券。他只要在天堂门口叫他的狗停下，就能轻轻松松赢得比赛。

天使看着这条忠心耿耿的狗，心里很难过，她大声对狗说：“你已经为主人献出了生命，现在你这个主人不再是瞎子，你也不用领着他走路了，你快跑进天堂去吧！”

可是，无论是主人还是他的狗，都像是没有听到天使的话一样，仍然慢吞吞地往前走，好像在街上散步似的。

果然，在离终点还有几步的时候，主人发出一声口令，狗听话地坐下了，天使用鄙视的眼神看着主人。

这时主人笑了，他扭过头对天使说：“我终于把我的狗送到天堂了，我最担心的就是它根本不想上天堂，只想跟我在一起……所以我才想帮它决定，请你照顾好它。”

天使愣住了。

主人留恋地看着自己的狗，又说：“能够用比赛的方式决定真是太好了，只要我再让它往前走几步，它就可以上天堂了。不过它陪伴了我那么多年，这是我第一次可以用自己的眼睛看着它，所以我忍不住想要慢慢地走，多看它一会儿。如果可以的话，我真希望永远看着它走下去，不过天堂到了，那才是它该去的地方，请你照顾好它。”

说完这些话，主人向狗发出了前进的命令，就在狗到达终点的一刹那，主人像一片羽毛似的落向了地狱的方向。它的狗见了，急忙掉转头，追着主人狂奔。满心懊悔的天使展开翅膀追过去，想要抓住导盲犬，不过那是世界上最纯洁最善良的灵魂，速度远比天堂所有的天使都快。

所以导盲犬又跟主人在一起了，即使是在地狱，导盲犬也永远守护着它的主人。

天使久久地站在那里，喃喃地说：“我一开始就错了，这两个灵魂是一体的，他们不能分开……”

在这个世界上，真相只有一个，可是在不同的人眼中，却会看出不同的是非曲直。这是为什么呢？其实道理很简单，因为每个人看待事物，都不可能站在客观公正的立场上，而是或多或少地戴上有色眼镜用自己的经验，好恶和道德标准来进行评判，结果就是——我们看到了假象。

MIRI 4 Jan. – Seorang pelajar tahun enam Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pujut, ditemui mati tergantung di rumah sewa keluarganya di Pujut, dekat sini, dipercayai kerana kecewa tidak dapat melayari internet berikutan masalah TMnet Streamyx.

Mangsa, Daniel Boniface, 12, ditemui kakaknya dalam keadaan sudah tidak bernyawa kira-kira pukul pukul 5.30 petang ini.
Mayat mangsa kemudian dihantar ke Hospital Miri dengan bantuan jirannya.
Ibu mangsa, yang enggan namanya disiarkan memberitahu pemberita, anak bongsu daripada lima adik-beradik itu dipercayai bertindak demikian mungkin kecewa setelah gagal menggunakan program chatting dan melayari laman-laman web kegemarannya.

‘‘Mangsa sudah berkali-kali menelefon TMnet Streamyx hotline, di 1-300-88-9515 tetapi gagal mendapat layanan.

‘‘Mangsa mungkin kecewa kerana permintaannya untuk membaiki talian internetnya tidak dilayan.

Beliau yang juga ibu tunggal berkata, dengan hanya bekerja sebagai tukang cuci di sebuah lot TM Point, saya tidak mampu berbuat apa-apa kerana pihak TMnet memang selalu menghadapi masalah.

‘‘Minat mangsa dalam pengkomputeran memang mendalam. Tak sangka dia pergi begitu sahaja kerana masalah Streamyx. Jika dia masih hidup tentu dia boleh jual syarikat Streamyx kepada Comcast kelak,” katanya.

Katanya, mangsa sebelum ini pernah meminta pertolongan di kaunter TM Point tetapi tidak dilayan kerana disangka meminta sedekah.

Katanya, mangsa kemudian meminta pertolongan Pak Guard yang berhampiran tetapi dia tidak juga dilayan sebaliknya PakGuard tersebut mengacukan senapang patahnya ke kepala mangsa sambil berbisik ,"Servis Streamyx ini hanya untuk orang-orang besar dan orang-orang kaya sahaja, dah pergi main jauh-jauh!"

‘‘Mangsa mungkin amat kecewa kerana semua masyarakat di sekelilingnya mengamalkan kronisme dan tidak adil dalam melakukan sesuatu servis, lalu membunuh diri"

Boring holiday

Still left 1 day and this holiday just have to ended like that for me...sigh... I was spending my whole week holiday in hospital, just ruined my holiday. Now, I cant go anywhere yet b'cos still not fully recover and was advice to stay at home. I can't go for movies or shopping...This's enough..*sob*
